Jacob’s Ladder

It’s an amazing contraption made of slats of wood bound cleverly together with ribbons. It’s movements seem impossible and you can play tricks with it too. Apparently known as ‘Magic Tablets’ by the Spanish and it appears that was highly favoured by Puritans as a quiet toy with biblical connections!

A fascinating and absorbing toy with an interesting history. Fabulous stocking filler and quite entertainment for one and all whatever the time of year.
To play simply fold back and forth and watch it ‘walk down’ the ladder….simple and very clever
