All Barefoot toys are made in Sri Lanka and every item is specifically designed for Barefoot, made either in the worker's own home or in small workshops in the countryside.  With no factories or production lines each toys is made by one worker from start to finish and they are responsible for the quality of the final product.  A Barefoot toy may cost a little more but they will last for much longer.  Each one is simply made, using cotton fabric hand dyed and hand woven.  Each one is totally unique and original and is totally biodegradable.
